Boa Constrictor Waist-Trainer Corset

This corset was designed and hand-made by Kate Horan of Boa Constrictor especially for UpStairs at UpStaged.

Inspired by consumer demand, we were looking for a corset that could be worn as an under-garment to give a classic 1950s style hour-glass figure and enhance the look of small-waisted vintage frocks.

Made from top grade satin coutil top fabric and comfortable coutil lining. Constructed from the highest quality steel boning including spiral sprung side bones and sturdy steel front-fastening busk. Each bone is hand-stitched with pretty ''flossing'' detail, which keeps the bones straight and snug in the channels and reduces wear on the fabric from moving bones. Every seam is stitiched 6 times to guarantee strength.

This corset is literally engineered to transform your waist shape.

Although this underbust corset is obviously beautiful enough to be on show over any outfit, it is also discrete enough to enhance your figure worn as a foundation garment.

The Boa Constrictor Waist-Trainer Corset is guaranteed for 1 year.

This corset will take at least 3 inches off your waist measurement and can be used by those wishing to 'train' their waists.
(It is imperative that you consult your GP before embarking on a waist-reducing programme.)

When ordering online take your natural waist measurement around the narrowest part of your waist without using any pressure to reduce its size.

We strongly recommend that you then select a size between 3 and 6 inches smaller than your natural waist, as the corset's waist is considerably narrower in comparison to the hips and underbust than with most regular styles.

If the corset waist size is not considerably smaller than your natural waist, the underbust and hips will probably be too loose-fitting: This corset relies on flesh being re-distributed to fill it out.

Please remember that those with a softer frame will be able to reduce their waist size further by wearing this corset than those with very little flesh on their bones.

The corset when laced up will normally have a 2" gap behind the lacing allowing for minor fluctuations in your weight.

This corset can be made to measure with hip and underbust measurements and can also be made in larger waist sizes with a £20 supplement to cover additional materials and pattern making.
